Assessing how the spine and hands move is central to detecting and tracking conditions such as cervical myelopathy, yet today it depends largely on subjective, in-person observation. Motion Insight turns a short, standardized video captured on an ordinary iPhone or iPad into consistent, objective measurements — so the same test means the same thing across visits, clinicians, and devices.
Our methods originate in published clinical research and are the subject of a pending U.S. patent application. Motion Insight holds an exclusive license to the underlying University of Virginia intellectual property. Development and clinical validation are ongoing.
